Project Principal Investigators

Our COBRE provides support for outstanding young faculty members at PBRC as they transition from training to independence and establish their own extramurally funded research programs. Each Investigator's project utilizes a combination of molecular, cellular and in vivo approaches to address fundamental questions about the processes of adipocyte differentiation and development. Each project pursues answers to critical but as yet unresolved questions that are essential to understanding the expansion of adipose tissue mass which occurs during the development of obesity and diabetes.
